Introduction
I served with the Army
in Vietnam from 1 July 1968 to 1 July 1969.
I was assigned as Staff Judge Advocate of the 4th Infantry Division at Camp Enari, a few miles south of Pleiku City
in the Central Highlands. I wasn't there as a tourist, and carrying a bulky 35 mm camera was neither appropriate
nor practical most of the time. Nevertheless, I did manage to take more than 100 color slides. Unfortunately,
after 40 years, they have deteriorated greatly and Photoshop was only partially successful in restoring them.
The
pictures are divided into six categories, some with subcategories:
